For most of our 30 years creating sandblasted dimensional signage, wood has been the material of choice. More recently however, high density urethane (HDU) has been introduced into our process. This man made material sandblasts, carves, finishes well and tolerates natural elements without the cracking, checking, and warping that affects wood. We still offer sandblasted wood in our signage and use it exclusively in designing and creating our fine art circular leaf sculptures.

However, many folks are choosing sandblasted HDU because of its clean professional appearance and the years of little or no maintenance it promises.
